Andre Grobler, artist and author, has produced a video instructions manual for budding artists called “how to paint oils”. According to the information on his dvd jackets, he is a retired, South African painter and master teacher of over 43 years. He has painted over 20,000 local painting companys in his long career.

Students with advanced-beginner through intermediate skills are best suited for this course. These video lessons are probably not ideal for rank beginners because they too quickly cover the details of how to set up your local painting company supplies. Nothing at all was mentioned about how to set up your art studio from scratch. This local painting company course is not appropriate for children.

The Negatives:

The downloadable version of the videos, while less expensive than the dvd versions, are too grainy, have poor color rendering and suffer from poor audio quality. It is also necessary to download and install a special free video player in order to play these versions of the videos.

The publishers website is unprofessional and confusing. It took a while to decipher what exactly was for sale and how to order. Purchasing the downloadable videos is pretty straight forward. Just click on a title on the home page and it takes you to a PayPal site where you can use a credit card or a cash balance.

The dvd twin packs are located on the second page. The prices and jacket cover photos are clear to see but it is not clear how to buy them. I can only assume that you must email the company for that information. This has to be one of the poorest designs for a commercial website I have ever seen.

The videos that deal with the fundamental techniques of oil local painting company are useful but, are just not thorough enough to get rank beginners off to a good start. It also appears that more teaching time could be spent on fundamentals like perspective. However, a more advanced student with some local painting company experience already may be able to benefit.

This course only teaches local painting company with oils and does not include information on acrylics or water mixable oils.

No refunds are offered for the downloadable versions of the lessons. The company’s position seems to be that electronic files cannot really be returned so no refunds. This is not a useful or standard internet business practice.

The Positives:

The instructor, Andre Grobler, is the real deal. He is professional, highly experienced, talented and a thoughtful instructor that has many significant tips to offer artists at almost any skill level.

The Bottom Line:

The downloadable videos are of such poor quality that they are almost useless. As a result they are just not worth purchasing. This is really too bad because this method of delivery drastically cuts the cost and makes it possible for more students to be exposed to Andre Grobler’s vast experience and ideas.

The quality is much improved with the dvd versions of the lessons but they are still not quite as detailed as a new student might require. They are also awkward to purchase and have an unclear return policy.

Because of these problems and due to the availability of other more thorough and polished local painting company courses, I cannot recommend the Andre Grobler How to Paint Oils Video Lessons.

A good question is how long should you walk on a tread mill each day to lose weight, burn fat and tone your muscles?

IF you are no fit then a good thing to do would be to walk between 10-15 minutes a day –do this every day and then gradually go longer.  You may not be physically fit at all and this may be the first time you are taking exercise seriously.

So here is a good workout on the treadmill

First -yes starting off with 10 -15 minutes at 3 to 5 miles per hour and then try to increase the time to about 30 minutes at that same speed once you can do that easily increase how fast you are going

A goo number to aim for as a man is 8 miles /hour for a mile and for a woman 6-7 miles per hour for a mile

When you are fit then you need to run on a treadmill for about 1-5 miles and once you can run for 30 minutes at a medium pace then stop running to improve time but improve the distance

For instance if you start running at 5 m/hr for 1 mile

Then you get your run to 7 m/hour

Don’t try for 8 miles per hour try 7 miles per hour for 15 minutes or a mile and a half

When you can run at 7 miles per hour for 20 minutes then consider running at 8 miles per hour for a mile

The other thing that is crucial for losing weight is to use interval training! Interval training means running for 2 minutes at sat 8 miles per hour then walking at 4 for 2 minutes then back to the running for 2 minutes at 8 miles per hour.

Alternate between the two for faster results

Start low and slow speed to avoid sprained muscles, say from 10 minutes, improve by 5 minutes everyday until you get 30 minutes and also when you properly sweat it out. It all depends how much you can take it. You can adjust the speed faster when you think you are fit enough to do so. Walking on a treadmill is a very good exercise for people who want to slim down fast and to keep fit. But to be effective you need to eat clean foods and watch your carbohydrate and simple sugar intake. because these two are culprits that will be converted to fat if in excess after digestion in your body.
